Fell Swoop Writers Group seeks three talented and dedicated new members.

OUR MISSION

To develop original stories for the stage and screen by partnering with local artistic companies and producing work that is at once challenging, entertaining and imaginatively realized.

ABOUT US

Based in Los Angeles, Fell Swoop was founded in 2002 by MFA Dramatic Writing Graduates from Carnegie Mellon University. We are an eclectic consortium of writers committed to supporting the evolution of members' work through discussion, development, and production.

FELL SWOOP BASICS

• Members write for both stage and screen.
• We meet year-round, every other Thursday.
• At most meetings, two submissions are workshopped.
• Workshop feedback sessions follow Liz Lehrman's Critical Response Process.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Commitment: Your goal is to make a living as a writer
• An interest in writing for both stage and screen
• The desire and ability to provide feedback that first addresses the writer's intentions
• A BFA and/or MFA in theatre and/or dramatic writing, or equivalent experience
