Cotillion
Full-length play (5W/1M)

Cotillion is set in circa 1957, a time when the stifled Ozzie and Harriet ideal is threatened by the seductive call of the free-living, free-loving 60s. Cotillion centers around Becky Teasdale, an 18-year-old who desperately wants to break free of the limits set by her society, her stepmother, and her sexuality - without losing favor from her father. Becky's newly-married father isn't home most of the time, so she's stuck with no buffer between her and the society-driven stepmother, Mae Belle. With the cotillion fast approaching, Becky is pressured to be someone she's not: a husband-seeking, dress-wearing debutante.

Jack Cracker: Viking Slave Detective - a radio play
Full-length play (7M/7W)

A defiant troupe of 1940's Norwegian-American actors (called "I'll Rape, You Pillage") desperately want to preserve the nearly-lost art of the ancient Nordic theater. Their radio play is set in the Viking Era -- the golden age of Norse theater. Jack Cracker and his marginal detective skills are called upon by Thor, Viking King. Jack's mission: find Thor's missing wife or be splayed. Choosing the option which includes a slightly smaller chance of his own death, Jack sets out on a harrowing journey with the help of a Plucky Orphan and Kwang Liu, a philosopher/poet from the mysterious Far East.

When the rich, eccentric Agnes hires a lawyer from the dreaded North to sue the Colonel for killing her beloved Suzie, a series of events unfolds, revealing the dark secrets of seemingly good-natured folk in this quiet southern town. Cat? is set somewhere in the south, wherever there might be an alligator or two - one for sure.

Full Moon
Feature-length screenplay - Horror

It's the dead of winter at Lake Tuscadero, secluded with a few cabins sprinkled around a tiny lake. 15-year-old Jenny, to spite her father for paying more attention to his new relationship than to her, accepts an invitation from her geeky-but-sweet-friend Todd for a weekend at his parent's cabin. She knows she'll make her father angry, but what she doesn't know is that her father and new love are there too, and that after this night, nothing will ever be the same. For this night, there will be another visitor at Lake Tuscadero - werewolf.

Tendencies
Feature-length screenplay - A true story

1970s. North Carolina. A charismatic, homosexual teenager is the rising star on Pat Robertson's Christian Broadcasting Network. 14-year-old Clark Shannon is the lead singer of a Christian youth singing group called The New Directions. The powers that be at CBN see that Clark is a star in the making, what they don't know is that Clark has the “tendencies” - he's gay. Inevitably, Clark's tendencies start coming out, no matter how much he tries to hide them. Not wanting another Jim and Tammy Faye scandal at CBN, Clark's homosexuality has to be cured. They threaten him with eternal damnation, send him to a Christian counselor who masturbates during their sessions, and when nothing else works, they force Clark to marry. It isn't long before Clark has to escape – or lose his soul.

Dead and Buried
Feature-length screenplay - Dark comedy

Single mother Doreen is a sex shop owner in San Francisco who has taken great pains to put as much distance between her and her judgmental, church-going mother as possible. Until the funeral. When beloved Uncle Hank dies mid-pole vault at the Tri-County Senior Olympics, Doreen is forced to return home to the rural, religious Ash County, Iowa - and her mother. There's one problem - Hank requested in his will to be buried, but in Ash County, home of the World Famous Crematorium Factory, any and all burying is illegal. When Doreen finds out she is the executor of Hank's will, she's determined to fulfill Hank's wishes no matter what. Dead & Buried is a dark comedy about how a mother and daughter (and daughter) rediscover their love for each other in spite of their differences.
